Softball Coaching with Skill, Mindset, and Real Teaching
Atlas Complete Training was built on a simple belief: every athlete has their own journey, and every coach's job is to help them walk it. Based at South Bay Batting in downtown San Jose, we combine technical softball coaching with sport psychology and movement science to develop athletes who are ready for whatever comes next.
Lauren Atlas
Lauren started coaching at 16, helping with the North Jersey JCC Maccabi Team. She began coaching middle school softball in 2007, then became an assistant coach for the Diamond Nation Finch’s Aces in 2010—where she also began giving private lessons. Over the years she’s coached middle school, high school, and club teams from 10U to 18U, and served as a volunteer assistant at Seton Hall. As her private coaching grew, Lauren went back for her Master’s Degree in Sport Exercise Psychology so she could help athletes with the mental side of the game—not just mechanics. She played two years at Elmira College (catcher and third base) and earned All Empire-8 honors in 2003 as a third baseman. Her coaching is centered on the individual journey: meeting each athlete where they are, teaching the “why” behind movement, and helping players become better people while learning to love softball.

Lauren’s approach in San Jose is simple: your goals matter, your learning style matters, and your pace matters.
